Tandem
Grow Beautiful Business
Known globally for exceptional Learning and Development training, Tandem was both well established and well respected when they approached us. Owner Clive Lafferty knew that, just as people grow and develop over time, so companies can evolve beyond the website and branding that suited them in their infancy.
We ran an brand workshop to find the essence of what makes Tandem so special, which we translated into a beautiful brand, website and hard working training materials.
Working with Supafrank has been a great experience. From day one, they attentively listened to my brief and helped me articulate my brand vision. Their creativity shone through as they presented a diverse range of innovative options for me to choose and create the look and feel that represented the personality of Tandem. Throughout the process, their exceptional listening skills and attentiveness to my needs were evident. The end result was a fantastic product that exceeded my expectations. The team at Supafrank is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I look forward to continuing our partnership. I wholeheartedly recommend them - it’s been a really fun project to work on and I am delighted with the results.
Clive Lafferty, Tandem
Clive and his team are the sort of people you really want to spend a day with, so it’s no surprise that they have a reputation for running the best training in the business. Their down-to-earth personalities challenge even the least keen attendee not to enjoy the session. A combination of creativity, fun and motivation is backed up by the fact these guys really, really, believe in personal growth. This isn’t an intro to self development, this is the real deal. Deep, impactful, work to really empower people and increase emotional IQ.
When it came to translating this through to design we found that we were drawn to two distinct ideas. We’d talked a lot about the journey and the adventure of development, which kind of suited Clive’s personality. In fact, the idea for Tandem originally came to him on a deserted beach in Java. The coordinates for this beach feature in the design. And we also felt like there was deep resonance with the idea of the growth rings of a tree, reflecting a person’s growth over time.
The final design was based around the idea of personal development taking you on a journey to a beautiful destination, and included elements of map symbols, and contour lines to suggest this.
